Jack was a beloved member of the community and served as the Managing Trustee for VMET for many years. He was the oldest son of Andrew W. McBride and an electrician by trade. His travels included Russia in research of business opportunities, a year in Africa studying the teachings of Stan Parsons (Ranching for Profit Schools) and Alan Savory (Savory Grazing Systems). Jack served on the board of The Fern Cottage Foundation as well.
